Working with local artists, we hope to develop a permanent cycle trail with collectable items at selected points around the county/ward. The idea is that participants would purchase a booklet including a series of rides. At the furthest point of each ride, the participant can collect a token/make a brass rubbing. When all rides have been completed a certificate or prize would be awarded.
This project is still in its early stages, but in association with Dunbar Community Woodland Group, with funding from The Forestry Commission we have recently published an activities trail including cycle routes around Lochend Woods.
